CosmoLite™ Floors


TekModo has worked relentlessly to develop floor solutions that again does not leave you all wet, but leaves you feeling lighter.  So we would like to introduce to you CosmoLite ™.


CosmoLite™ is a lightweight composite that is ideal for replacement of Luan and Plywood for flooring applications. CosmoLite is a thermoplastic substrate comprised of polypropylene resin reinforced with continuous bidirectional glass fibers. It resists rot, corrosion, and mildew and is not affected by cleaning related chemicals, road residue, or environmental exposure. CosmoLite™ provides significant energy absorption over traditional lauan substrates and exhibits thermal expansion similar to aluminum.


CosmoLite™ offers reduced weight, lower production costs, and provides a monolithic substrate over the entire floor of the trailer. In addition, CosmoLite reduces production setup time as a single layer can be used to replace the twin layers of lauan and adhesive used in most applications today.


Additionally, CosmoLite™ eliminates seams caused by joining several lengths of lauan together.



The bidirectional nature of CosmoLite provides consistent physical properties throughout the entire panel. CosmoLite can be easily repaired by applying heat and/or using traditional fiberglass repair methodologies.
